Hurricane Michael - Update from IMC Resort Services, Inc.

Good Morning IMC Community Owners and Residents, We have been monitoring the progression of Hurricane Michael for the past few days. Unfortunately, it appears that we will likely feel some impact of the storm tomorrow and Thursday. Below you will find the latest from the National Weather Service. As you can see the impact in our area could be severe. We ask that you remove any items from balconies and patios to prevent them from causing possible damage or injury. Hurricane Michael Update - 5:30 pm October 8, 2018

Good evening all, Not a lot of change in the forecast. Michael is still scheduled to make landfall as a Major Hurricane (cat 3+). The current forecast has our area seeing tropical storm force winds and isolated tornadoes may be possible Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning. The rainfall forecast for Wednesday night into Thursday afternoon is 4 to 6 inches. Operational Updates: Beaufort County is at OPCON 4 Town of Hilton Head Island is at OPCON 4 as of 5:00 pm today. At this point the NWS has not released their evening one page update. Once I receive the update I will forward it along.
